The Crystal Heist is a very good novel. Joanna White is both the author and the narrator. Joanna gives a wonderful performance as she brings her story to life. The story opens with Alyra in a cruel orphanage. I found Alyra to he a strong character with deep feelings. While trying to keep from starving, she was caught and branded a thief. While in prison, she meets Makai and Alyra’s life is changed. Joanna White wrote a fast paced story and I loved every minute of the book. The Crystal Heist has multiple layers and a very surprising ending. The Epilogue was perfect. I can’t wait to listen to another if Joanna White’s books. I received a code for free and am leaving my review voluntarily.
