But Kate Dramis surpassed expectations here, adding to he world’s magic system and lore and using that as part of really fantastic character development and story development so that everything is beautifully interwoven in a narrative full of tension, political scheming, and drama, in the middle of which some beautiful relationships (not all of them romantic, either) form and develop.
Gripping till the last page.
Really looking forward to seeing where this talented author takes the story!
