Newly minted doctor Jane McGill is in hell.

Not literally, of course. But between her drug addict patients, sleepless nights on call, and battling wits with the sadistic yet charming Sexy Surgeon, Jane can’t imagine an afterlife much worse than her first month of medical internship at County Hospital.

And then there’s the devil herself: Jane’s senior resident Dr. Alyssa Morgan. When Alyssa becomes absolutely hell-bent on making her new interns pay tenfold for the deadly sin of incompetence, Jane starts to worry that she may not make it through the year with her soul or her sanity still intact.

I’ve listened/read some of Freida’s books and this one is the weakest . The title wasn’t that great but it was pretty interesting.

Nothing

I was expecting another Frieda thriller and I was pleasantly surprised. I’m a caregiver so I totally enjoyed this book. I was surprised at how accurate Frieda was on all her medical terms. I didn’t know she is an actual physician. That explains it. It’s not a thriller but it’s still a fun story. Don’t go into expecting a thriller, but it’s still good. I loved the second book too.

Not one of Frieda’s psychological thriller but still so good.

I went in completely blind with this book. I didn't read the synopsis or any reviews. Big mistake. Big, big mistake. This is not your typical Frieda thriller. Far from it, in fact. Aside from the turmoils of Dr. Jane McGill's hellacious start as an intern under her senior resident Dr. Alyssa Morgan and her budding romance with the sexy surgeon, Dr. Ryan Reilly, there isn't a hint of a thriller about this book. All that aside, it was still a decent book.

Meh, it was alright.

This was so boring for Frieda. Where was the twists and turns, definitely not a normal Frieda book
