I love the personal stories told by the author which relate to the overall message

This book is written so well. It engages the reader, especially through audible.

The content included engaging personal anecdotes and compelling illustrations and principles from Christian history that were new to me.

In addition to the text, the author provided access to excellent video instruction on her website. She writes as an experienced and mature Christian leader (as well as a scholar, wife and mother.)

The narrator brings understanding, compassion and affection into her excellent presentation of the material. Several times it brought me to tears.

I needed this book, and just ordered the paperback so I can underline and find the material I want to use personally and share with friends. Thank you!!

i really appreciate the context. The author was sincere and insightful. i found it very helpful.

However, the narrator was very disappointing. Whenever she came to a tender passage, I thought she was going to cry. Her voice became cloyingly emotional. It felt manipulative. This happened so often, I decided to listen to the content with another app.
