Talbot’s plan to roast the zombies along with Eliza didn’t pan out, as most of Talbot’s plans are wont to do. Eliza failed to show up but many more zombies than expected did. As the military says, “no plan survives contact with the enemy”. Is there one more miracle left in the world? Eliza will not give up the hunt. Some of Talbot’s group split up, others going their way to find their old homesteads, Talbot’s family to make their way to his parent’s home. This volume comprises many encounters with zombies and raiders. Not all the characters we have come to know will survive this account. If you have continued to stay with the series to this point you may be becoming accustomed to Talbot’s shortcomings and Tufo’s flaws. Ready to proceed further?
