I loved the juxtapossition of beauty and darkness....both part and parcel to humanity. I was pulled along by the carefully reckless progression of the characters' relationship and broadsided by the ending.

Wow, I did not know what a ride I was in for. Insanity to say the least. That ending was unexpected. Good nonetheless!

Story was pretty good, two characters were easy to imagine. Erotic scenes very nice. Host family to the exchange student disappeared before middle of the tale. Expected more about being a Frenchman as a student in US, hence the title. I felt like the story had potential for something deeper.

I love this book a crazy amount.
It was so unexpected.
Nick and Ryan were written so well that I wish I could read more. A second book would ruin the ending but for some reason I wish they could have more.
I don't like spoilers so it isn't easy to describe this book without giving too much away. Just know that it won't be for everyone, but those who can appreciate it for what it is will really enjoy it.
