I really like the author and plan on continuing the Ally Bishop series, love the mystery!

The overall performance of the actors was impressive

At the beginning of the story......what in the world did Shanghai have anything to do with the story?? It was brought up in a couple chapters, and NEVER mentioned again. That's number one. What in the world happened to Paul?? That was brought up a couple times, and NEVER mentioned again. Two really important "details" that were brought up and then dropped. Never to be addressed again. Ruined the story and investment that the reader will suffer. The ONLY good thing about the book was the last 31 minutes of the book, AND it only lasted for 8 minutes. I'm pissed it cost me a credit
