There’s a young woman tied up in the basement of our cabin.

….but easily figured out. This was not as “twisty” as the description declared. But it was still a decent listen. The narrator for Dawn was very good; the other, just okay.

I really enjoyed the book. There wasn't anything I didn't like about it. The characters were well thought out. The author kept you guessing about some of them.

The surprises is what stood out. The story ends with a brilliant outcome.

After the first chapter was sure of this listen, but glad I stuck it out.. it was good, crazy family and husband..

This story was entertaining, but endlessly frustrating. You do not need a quarter to dial 911 on a pay phone. Why not tell the grocery clerk or write a note? Dawn had a million opportunities to inform cops. I was more annoyed than anything at her being a dingbat! Then hold on I need to use the bathroom before we escape? Seriously?! 🙄🙄🙄
