This book was dark and sad in some parts but it is wrapped up pretty good. Proof of what true love can be or just really good writing. I loved it.

This audiobook story was about a boy and a girl from different walks of life who fell in love. Because of their differences and a terrible loss, the boy leaves and doesn't return for 5 years. Their relationship is very complex and the story well performed by the narrators. Lovely ending!

I've read two book now by this author and I love her style of writing. I feel so connected to the characters and the stories are wonderful.

Lots of trigger warnings for this one. Drugs, physical, verbal & mental abuse. Characters are written to be as young adults, even when 5 years went by, they’re still immature. I do like how heroine never really gives up main character guy. Spoiler alert:
