Lord Peter is pithy, clever and astounding. Very entertaining. You can’t “look” away. The narrator is excellent.

Dorothy L. Sayers is brilliant.

In a lot of ways, these stories are more fun than Agatha Christie. Lord Peter Wimsey is pretty silly and lively and consistent and the characters and the characterizations in the family are rollicking fun. The author doesn’t seem to hate her masculine characters she can draw really good masculine and feminine characters. Wonderful wonderful mystery stories.

Great, Author really interesting stories so much fun

Peter coates is one of my favorite audible narrators- this is the third of his collections I have bought-- if you love a book --you want Peter Coates to read it- he understands the characters- brings out the humor and beauty and meaning of the writing- there are only five narrators on audible I can say that about-- I am sick of narrators who put their performance before the book--if Peter Coates reads- gaudy night, have his carcasev and nine tailors--I will totally buy them

best narrator-- best writer
