Cool story with an interesting twist on climate change where the future is a dystopian winter instead of hot from global warming. Unfortunately there are some hints of political rhetoric with wording like “cancel culture” and a few trope jabs at science and the government. For me those disrupted an otherwise creative and interesting story.

The AI narration is impressive but detracted from the overall experience of listening to the book. A human narrator would have been better.

Different perspective, believing our future will be that of ice tsunamis rather than global warming. Be aware there are grim storylines with incest and cannibalism. Author's viewpoint is very right-wing. I found the virtual voice to be meh, but not horrible.
