What a cute romcom!! I loved the characters and I want to go back and read the first three books in this series. The Game was an absolute blast with memorable characters, a ton of giggles and was a joy to read. I'll definitely be reading more Sylvie Stewart in the future.

I received this audio book for free for my review! I adore Gavin he is sweet and honestly my favorite guy from this series! Emmy is great and confident and an all around catch! These two heat up the sheets and he teaches her to loosen up and take the chance on the young guy!!! Love this series

I had so much fun listening to this sweet, engaging, and steamy romance. Gavin is the famous hometown boy who was on the fast track to playing ball in the big leagues. His future was turned upside down after a tragic accident. Now he is finding a new path and is working hard to reach his goals. One of those goals is to convince a smart sexy Emerson to go out with him. Emerson is focused on making partner at the law firm where she works and being available for her teen brother who lives with her. He is a talented pitcher who Gavin would like to help train. Emerson has never met anyone who could make her feel the way Gavin does. They are from different worlds and she is torn between the charming, fun, sexy man and the image she is pressured to uphold. Gavin was so loveable, and swoony as he continued to prove that he was more than his mistakes. It was a joy to watch the sweet and caring Emerson realize that she could be happy and successful. Gavin and Emerson were so cute together, I really cared for them and cheered for their HEA. I loved all their friends and family who added so much hilarity, encouragement, and support. This is my first listen to Kelsey Navarro, and I really enjoyed her performance. She was so perfect as Emerson, but her other voices were distinct and dynamic as well. She was very easy to listen to, making this funny, quirky, heartfelt romance even more fun and exciting.

Emerson is my book alter ego in the world of Sylvie Stewart - ever the careful planner who prioritizes pretty much everything above herself. Cue Gavin to bring his cute carefree self into her life to mix things up. I love the text exchanges and contact names in this book and was nervous about how it'd come out in audio but they've pulled it off. And this book had me laughing out loud in public as the narrator brought the story to life. Can't wait for the next adventure!

The intro for this book was lackluster and I was worried that this book would not be enjoyable, but I was determined to keep going because I loved the first two books. Then I started this one and I was BLOWN AWAY! It was fun, the lackluster intro in the previous book was totally turned into a "she was meant for me" thing and I laughed, and cried, and was amazed at how many issues they had to overcome in order be together. Yet, the relationship rang as true and right immediately. The narrator was very good and you could feel both of their frustrations as issues arose. You could also feel the heat.

Bottom line: YOU MUST READ/LISTEN TO THIS BOOK!!
