This is the second book/first series I've read/listened to by JH Leigh. This author is an excellent writer! It took me a minute to remember back to the first book, but the storyline is as intriguing and the characters continued to be as complicated as in book one. These girls are going through so much, even now that they "got away". We're introduced to new characters and I can't say whether I like them or not. My mind continues whirling as I wonder how this will all play out. I continue to be glued to the storyline and want answers now! Ugh! I cannot wait for the next book to find out what will happen! I hope it releases soon! These are definitely worth a relisten back to back once the whole series is released!

Sarah Puckett is an excellent narrator, a favorite of mine. I just settled in ready for the journey as soon as I heard her voice. She narrates male and female voices well. She has a smooth voice and her performance is always emotional. It was perfection.

This story is thrilling, intense, emotional, brutal.
Despite all the horrors they've been through, the girls are determined to get their revenge to expose their tormentors.
Sarah Puckett expresses all the emotions of each character to this audio. Very well done.

Omg! This second one is as good as the first! It’s gripping and reality based so really draws the listener in. I love the way the story is moving. It’s at a fast pace, filled with characters that we already know and love, as well as a few new ones.

This one is the second in the trilogy, so I highly recommend starting with the first book in the series and then listening to this one. I did listen to this on Audio. Sarah Puckett is the narrator, and she does outstanding in this book/series. I can’t wait for the last book to see what happens.

We are introduced to several new characters in this book while clues are unraveled as we get closer to finding out who Madame Moirai actually is. The girls are seeking vengeance in this book while they are searching for answers. It is an exciting continuation to this story. I can't wait to see how it all ends in the final book of this trilogy. Sarah Puckett did an excellent job bringing this story to life.
