This delightful and engaging mystery set in Santa Cruz, CA follows Pat Pirard as a smart and compelling lead character thrown into the unfamiliar world of private investigation. Pat needs to sort through the suspects with various possible motives in order to get to the truth. This first book in the series is read by author Nancy Lynn Jarvis which adds a wonderful, personal touch that really brings the story to life. Highly recommended!
