I loved how he wrote it in the Point of view of the dog. L8me he calls the kid “pup”, and the phone “the talking thing”, and the bed the “nice sleeping place”, and the road “hedgehog smell way. I just think that is very creative.

I think the book also had a great plot, very good suspense. Overall, great book.

I also recommend reading Avi’s “The Tales of Dimwood Forest” series and the “ Crispin” series. 📚👍

have not heard this book in almost 20 years. letting my children enjoy it the way I did in 2003, 2004 after my mother died.

such an amazing book for kids learning to read and very well written.

I have yet to read or listen to a book by Avi that hasn’t been fantastic. My phone year old son’s 1st remark as the audiobook concluded was, “Is there another Good Dog book?”
