I tried really hard to enjoy this book. I just had a really hard time. Believing that a group of pacifist would survive the apocalypse. I kept turning it off and waiting a couple days. Going back and releasing to maybe hope it would get a little better and it never did.

The characters in this book never wanted to take anyone's life to save their own.

Dear (female) author... women are NOT all anxiety filled weaklings or balls-to-the-wall bitches! Every female in this story has a mental disorder, are you kidding? You, obviously, have a poor view of the female sex. I'm horrified by the lack of any logical intelligent women in this book... it was a good thing that there were men to take care of them! This is the first and last book I will purchase from this author.

Plot was underdeveloped and story lacked detail and depth. Every female character was mentally ill, weak, unreasonable, and bitchy. I have never read a book with more unstable unhinged women characters. The male characters were mostly reasonable and relatable. The women were chronic victims who were so bitchy and unlikeable they somehow generated no sympathy. The women were constantly being kidnapped and held prisoner by psychopaths. That repeated story line got old very fast. Not realistic or enjoyable.

the books were good,if romance is your thing,....it's not my thing,so,I wasn't really into it...if i had to describe it,I would say apocalyptic romance.....so,that's why I say heads up,because if I had known it was romantic,I would've skipped it....but,if you like romantic, you'll probably like it.....😉
