I really enjoyed this book. It has great emotional depth, laugh out loud humor and thoughtful social commentary. Joseph did a fantastic job creating vivid characters using all sorts of voices and accents. I think I would recommend this to children older than 12. 16 might be more appropriate as it deals with some heavy topics. Overall very happy to have experienced this imaginative novel.
