I read a few reviews that were not positive so I felt I needed to weigh in. The story takes place a short time after the first book ended. It wasn’t as tense as the first one but still very good. The ending wasn’t a cliffhanger however it felt like there is room for a 3rd book.

I really enjoyed it

I thoroughly enjoyed the book but I have to admit that at times Julia was quite frustrating and annoying. The way she treated some of the characters and almost always refused to listen to reason had me wanting to pull my hair. None the less it was a great story.

The narrator is good. She is a bit slow speaking but just bump speed up 1.5 and it was perfect.

the book should have ended after the return back to nassau.. the second part should have either been longer or a separate story. it's still a good story but wish there would have been more and not so rushed. overall, still a good read and enjoyed it.
