I loved this book! Not only was I on the edge of my seat, trying to figure out what was going to happen next with the fictional characters, I was also intrigued with the non-fictional story line. I knew little to nothing about this history. A+ for this historical fiction novel!

What a terrific story! Thank you, Ms. Bacon for a compelling read/listen that held me fast. However, the audio performance was difficult, if not downright terrible! Chapters started and stopped with out warning. Whomever directed your narration did not guide you well. It truly took away from the story line. I will definitely recommend your book, but only to read and not listen to. This was not Audible’s usual standard!
