Received as an audio copy to review from the narrator, this is an honest review. Beautifully performed by Grant Love, The Judas Tree brilliantly mixes the dark and complex world politics and murder. Coming back from the harrowing attempt upon her life, DI Claire Redding, jumps back into her police with the heinous death of a politician hung from a well known tree. The clues expose that in the world of politics, who one honestly is and getting elected are two different and difficult things. As his case unfolds, Claire's husband Peter is getting himself into a hell of trouble as a dark obsession will forever change his and Claire path as a couple forever.

Highly recommended.

I found this audio very intriguing and quickly became invested in the characters and storyline. There was a lot going on behind the scenes along with the actual story. I couldn't stop listening until the end, and then I just about fainted with that ending. Oh no!! I was hoping for a clean get away. I need the next book, because I'm on tenterhooks waiting to see the outcome. I loved it. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did a phenomenal job with accents and characters bringing it all to life.
