The Kill Clause is a fast-paced and engaging short read that kept my attention from start to finish. Lisa Unger does a great job creating tension quickly, drawing you into the story without wasting a single page.

I especially enjoyed how smoothly the plot unfolds, making it easy to read in one sitting. Even with its shorter length, the story feels complete and satisfying, with enough suspense to keep things interesting throughout.

Overall, this was an enjoyable and well-written quick read, perfect for when you want something gripping without a big time commitment.
