A trip down memory lane is fine if you don't stumble on a body. Frannie Shoemaker and her friends camp at Old Dam Trail State Park near one of Donna Nowak's childhood homes. This book stands alone. It has the same cast of characters as the other volumes. Great narration. I always enjoy Michelle Babb's narrations. She has done an excellent job as usual.

Poor Frannie just can’t catch a break and have a nice enjoyable camping trip. The local story of the lady in the lake was fun to listen to and to see who still believes in it as the story went on. Also trying to see how this could have something to do with a murder that they just stumbled upon was interesting. I like this book and can only hope Frannie gets a more enjoyable trip next time (but not really because what would be the fun in that).

I like any mystery that makes it difficult to figure out "who-dunnit" until late in the book. I liked the characters. They were fun and likeable. The humor was laugh inducing and well done. The narrator does a great job differentiating between characters and is pleasant to listen to. You'll enjoy this book!
