An great work of American historical literature narrated very poorly. I'd wanted to enjoy this book for a long time. With vision problems, I thought the audio version would be an enjoyable experience but the narration was so cumbersome as to ruin the book. It makes me doubt the entire audio book medium.

Do not buy this! The narrator is horrible! The voices he does for the characters are horrendous! I wanted to quit this several times, but stuck it out.
