Jace is trying to reconcile why his "Aunt" and "Uncle" had taken him from his parents and changed his name from Christopher to Jason living for years on the run. Back home with his parents who turn out not to be dead as he was raised thinking is hard enough for any teenager. For Jace, being a mixed paranormal- a wolf shifting witch has even more on his plate to get used to.

This book is jam packed with a variety of paranormal entities and lots of action and suspense. Definitely should start with the first book and expect to have unresolved storylines that lead into the rest of the series.

Feeling a lot like Harry Potter, in the Lost Child aspect and a bit like the Twilight Series with mixed paranormals interacting but with a more communal feel this series is an enjoyable read for more than just the YA audience.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout but ended up buying the Audible version when I found I already owned the Kindle book.
