This really is an excellent book, and the performances are top notch. music between chapters really helps set the stage and the stories told are wonderful, if not sometimes confusing as to their moral. This is not a bad thing though, as a lot of the meanings are unconsciously directed rather than consciously understood. 11/10, if an audiobook sequel comes out I Will Buy It Immediately.

Maybe this would work for some listeners but I was hoping for nice metaphorical stories narrated with care. I couldn't listen after hearing a few - the narration is loud in the sense that it's inconsistent and not read with an appreciation for storytelling or metaphor. Make sense? So it's as if someone at the gym picked up a book and jokingly started reading it out loud. This is a wonderful topic and the book may have potential but I certainly couldn't tell given the current condition of narration.
