Even though I already explored world of mindfulness this book can give you more options and views upon the field. Definitely recommend.

I read a hard copy of this book first because it wasn't on audible yet and i loved it but I love it so much more on Audible. Listening to it just puts me in such a great frame of mind, even before I actually start practicing the exercises described! Cameron's voice is perfect, it's like listening to a guided meditation! As I was listening I was trying to analyze why is affected me so much and I realized it was her language. The vocabulary is so positive I started jotting the words down: Cultivate, nurture, navigate, light, purposeful, revel, pleasure, invite, nourish, intentional, notice, appreciate, savor, relish, marvel, wonder. Or, a word, mindfulness. I had it playing in the car while my 9-year-old was sleeping but when he woke up instead of asking me switch it to something else he started listening too and now asks me to turn it on when we get in the car. I never want to stop listening to this book!!!

This book literally changed my life. It inspired me to start my own meditation practice in the mornings, which has made a huge difference in my day, my family, my life. Laurie's voice is so calming, I would often start my meditation with listening to some of this book. Do yourself a favor and listen to this book and see what changes in your life.

Definitely will read/ listen this book again. It has such great ideas and they are so simply explained. However, there is do much information that re-reading/ listening would be good.
