This was one of the most linguistically beautiful stories that I have heard this year. The narration gave a musical quality to what was written as if meant to be sung. This is the story of an unlikely heroine whose destiny has been cast and remolded numerous times. She grows through the twists and turns, building friendships along the way. I can’t wait for the opportunity to listen to Book 2.

A story with great charm, whimsy and culture. A suporter of the author and waited a while for an audio release. Did not disappoint. The story is very much character driven, and an outstanding calibration of a "hero's journey" and "chosen one" story.
