I was given this book for free from audiobook boom and asked to leave an unbiased review for the author and narrator. Mr. Donovan must have played the game or watched the movie Clue the wrote this book. I didn’t really like this book that much. Mr. Donovan needs to get a new proofreader and production team. There are a lot of inconsistencies in this story. Keep your themes straight too Clyde first said that alcohol dulled his gift, then he says the quickest way to activate his gift was to get drunk; Rachel Harroway is the one who uses alcohol to activate her gift. Shotguns have shells not bullets. First Jonas held a shotgun, then it was a hunting rifle, then it’s a shotgun again. I like Cheryl May’s voice. She attempts to make the story a production rather than just reading a book to you. She needs to work on her pronunciation though, keep the names the same throughout also.
