I love this new series and the world Xavier Neal is building here! In this book, story spice and characters all combine into a serious can’t miss!

This book had me guffawing and cracking up! The analogies and hilarious jibes were next level comedy. The love story was sweet and I loved listening to a black woman dominating not as a lowly puck bunny but a ding dang on GM and owner of a sport with very little brown n black representation. Well done.

A big part of my dislike for this book was the audiobook narration, it just wasn't good in my opinion. The story was okay (not great - there was something about the writing that was almost juvenile) and I for sure would have enjoyed it more had I read the book instead of listened.

Maybe 2.5 Stars?
