This book, the first in a new series, has an intriguing storyline that held my attention. I read this book when it was first published and enjoyed it so much that I went on to read the rest of the series.

When I learned that it was now available in audio format, I just had to listen to it. It has an interesting and complex storyline that focuses on Eve, a newly divorced witch. It seems that her powers had been siphoned by her ex, a warlock who has now found someone new. With a boost to her own powers now noticeable, she finds herself becoming involved with some feral supernaturals.

The characters are well-drawn, and the plot is interesting and flows well. The narration by Naomi Rose-Mock added to my enjoyment of the story.

“The Prime of my Magical Life” is the first Book in the Supernatural Midlife Mystique and the Shrouded Nation Series. Eve is a newly divorced witch. Her ex left her for a younger witch when their daughter started college. The book has interesting characters, a great storyline with plenty of angst, suspense, new friends, and some burning romance. The audiobook is narrated by Naomi Rose-Mock who is a wonderful narrator. She makes the characters come alive
I love all the series written by Brenda Trim and/or Tia Didmon! They create wonderful and unique supernatural worlds, with plots that make you unable to put them down. This book leaves you with what will be the start of the next book I found the bit of a cliff hanger interesting.
