Here we are, another amazing book. The only thing about this book, was the narrator . He was good, but when he spoke the women’s voice , wasn’t too good for me. Maybe I got so used to the previous narrators and books. Clearly did a wonderful job speaking the men voices, it was just the women. But read very well.

Another excellent work from Ms Lawson Roby! It went traversed a new level when Raquel snapped! Narration wasn't the best; voice didn't fit with the black characters.

The Black family drama is in full effect.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character in this book was Matthew. I feel like I have watched him grow up. It was nice to see him as a young man.

Who was the most memorable character of The Prodigal Son and why?

The most memorable character was Matthew's wife. I enjoyed the direction that they went with her being crazy due to post partum depression. Nice twist.

Nice Addition to the Series

I sympathized with Dylan BEFORE he snapped. Initially, he just wanted what he’s been missing; a fathers love and attention. Curtis could’ve tried to include him more…. $500,000 doesn’t buy a relationship. Overall, Dylan got what he deserve. Why scheme when he could’ve just expressed his feelings with his father. I’ll skip over Charlotte because I STILL haven’t gotten over her double standards and conniving ways lol. LOVE LOVE LOVE the series. I listen while driving, working, cooking, etc. Excellent job Mrs. Roby!
