"Sumptuous prose and a mind-blowing twist will make sure that readers don't forget The Professor's Wife, an unsettling psychological thriller wrapped in a provocative dark romance." -IndieReader

Carl Bingham is a lonely British Literature Professor who has sworn off love and sex since an affair with a student at Skidmore College almost lost him his tenure and reputation. Camilla is a young artist who sits in his classroom, mesmerized by his voice and appearance. Despite their age difference, they fall in love, marry, and feed each other's physical and emotional needs. But when secrets and betrayals begin to threaten the bond they have forged and have found nowhere else, how far will each go to keep the other from disappearing?

The Professor's Wife is about enduring love and the darkness that lives in all of us when it is threatened by the unexpected twists and bends of life itself.

The book is a little weird. I do like the awareness of showing the long term risks of abortion/s which is the increase risk of infertility it can cause since it is always left out and the devastation it causes women when they are ready to be a mom. It showed the downward spiral of the character with her self loathing when all she had to do was go to an obgyn or fertility specialist and they would have tried to help her. But it went a different direction probably also highlighting unresolved mental health problems.

Strange Book

This book started off well, but took a dark turn midway. Very predictable ending. I don't think it should have been classified as a mystery or psychological thriller. It was more like a dark romance. Don't like the ending at all. It is good in how it showed the results of mental depression and self loathing.

Not what I expected

loved the twist. Love can conquer all I guess. wish it wasn't virtually read though. could have used more expression. so much gets mispeken with virtual.
