Are there pixies absolutely everywhere? Unfortunately.

Tiny flying faeries with poisonous dust? Great…

Is Winter calling me his boyfriend all of a sudden? Wait. What?

It’s pixie season, and they’re everywhere. Win and I are wearing so much pixie gear we look like we’re in space suits. It isn’t fun, but getting dusted is worse. Pixies. Ugh. But Chaos and Aeson need our help, so here we are.

To top it off, Winter and I have people showing up from our pasts, demanding our attention and bringing up old hurts. But at least I have him by my side this time—and he has me. Not sure how long it’ll last—even though my heart wants forever and Win’s saying all the right things—but I’m definitely going to hold on to him while I can.

The Pushy Pixies Are Going Down (Hopefully) is an MM urban fantasy and the second book in Miles and Winter’s love story. Each book will have its own supernatural problem with a HFN ending for the couple, but there will be overarching plot themes throughout the series.

I love how genuinely cute and cozy this series is. It also has just the right amount of fairytale and magic elements. I liked that we got to spend some relationship time with Miles and Winter in this second book. Winter gives Miles all the sweet physical and emotional affection he has been needing. Very intimate but not a spicey kind of love story which I actually enjoy in my audible listens. Zachary Zaba's voices brought out all the adorable quirks of these characters!

The Pushy Pixies Are Going Down (Hopefully) is the second book in the Carry A Faerie series. In my opinion this series is best read in order. We are back with Miles and Winter for more fun, this time with pixies. I just love these two and can't put their stories down once I start them. This was such a fun story but had enough seriousness to keep it moving. I love the found family aspect in the series. I really love the side characters Lyric, Ace, and Chaos. It was good to see Miles and Winter settling into their relationship and working through their past trauma. If you get the audio narration, Zachary Zaba does a wonderful job of narrating this book. He makes the change in characters seamlessly and has a wonderful voice that I really enjoy listening to. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book and series as 5 star reads.

'We kind of looked like we were wearing all-white HAZMAT suits.
When we were finished and ready to go, Winter stood up and faced me. Since the masks were clear around the eyes, I could see his pretty blue ones when they met mine. We stared for a beat, then both of us burst out laughing.
This wasn’t the first time I’d seen him in a pixie suit, but every single time, I couldn’t help but laugh. He looked ridiculous, like he was ready to go into battle with some giant alien beast, yet I knew we were only going up against little tiny faeries the size of bugs.
And I knew I looked just as ridiculous.'

I loved the first book in this series, and this one was no different. Miles and Winter's story continues- this time with rogue pixies. Great world building and wonderful characters. Win and Miles have a new enchanted creature problem to take care of , and their developing relationship continues. I loved the humor and liked the supporting characters. I couldn't put it down and will be listening to the audiobook next. Another fun adventure. What does Michele Notaro have in store for them in book three? Zachary Zaba did a great job bringing this story to life. I really enjoyed his narration, and had no trouble distinguishing between the characters.
