A ranger’s duty. The rotten heart of a king. Rebellion spilled from the blood of family.

Rew and his friends make the final leg of their journey to face impossible power, and ultimate evil. Can they wrest the kingdom from Morden control without it falling into bloody chaos? Can they cut out the rotten heart of the king while keeping their own?

The King’s Ranger is a classic fantasy adventure, perfect for fans of Michael J Sullivan, Brent Weeks, James Islington, and AC Cobble’s Benjamin Ashwood Series.

I liked everything about this series and grew quite attached to the characters. Well done, Mr. Cobble. Unlike many series that just leave you wanting more, this series reached a natural and unforced conclusion. I like the symbolism and classical tropes used throughout the series but particularly in this one. Simon Vance was perfect for this series. Finishing my 4th read/listen thru the series and look forward to the next 4.

Satisfying conclusion

I think it's a rip roaring fantasy adventure series. there were enough loose ends left where there could be room for some additional books down the line we'll see if the author goes there or goes off on some new series. it's a good fun read and the narration done by Simon Vance was excellent as always..

a great conclusion but not necessarily conclusion

Simon Vance makes even some of the less good books a joy. With the writing and performance of this series it kept me well interest and eager to hear what was next. Enough so that I finished all 6 in a 5 day Period. I work alone and found reasons to stay in my shop and listen .

Kept my attention and worth the listen IMO
