#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • In “Grisham’s most addictive courtroom thriller” (The Seattle Times), justice is fighting for its life—and the jury is caught in the crossfire of greed and corruption.

They are at the center of a multimillion-dollar legal hurricane: twelve men and women who have been investigated, watched, manipulated, and harassed by high-priced lawyers and consultants who will stop at nothing to secure a verdict. Now the jury must make a decision in the most explosive civil trial of the century, a precedent-setting lawsuit against a giant tobacco company. But only a handful of people know the truth: that this jury has a leader, and the verdict belongs to him.

He is known only as Juror #2. But he has a name, a past, and he has planned his every move with the help of a beautiful woman on the outside. Now, while a corporate empire hangs in the balance, while a grieving family waits, and while lawyers are plunged into a battle for their careers, the truth about Juror #2 is about to explode.

This novel is at the top of my Grisham "must have list". Very satisfying. Not to mention FRANK MULLER narrating. He is truly a master story teller, and his work is sorely missed.

Great John Grisham Story

grisham is far too long winded in this one it's good but would be far better if 100 pages slimmer . there is no one really to root for.everyone is various degrees of sleazy and the female protagonist is neither funny or sympathetic, instead she feels we quite contrived as do many of the plot devices.the narrator is typically brilliant and rescues the book but even he seems bored about halfway thru from having to repeat himself and he compensates by racing thru the narrative like Seabiscuit chasing down a flagging competitor. the very best thing about the book is that they didn't hire the ever atrocious Scott Brick to read it. 12 hours of his school marmish mincing and indicating would have killed my subscription and sucked all the oxygen out of my zip code

thank yu Frank muller

This book was brought to life by the great performance of Frank... It goes without saying that John Grisham never dissappoints, though I have to say it's not his best but I can't all be gold, right?

Frank Miller is simply great
