Even almost 50 years later this book about household division of labor is still relevant. Great insight into how gender ideals and perception changes one’s participation in work, parenting, and household labor.

I was expecting some form of help or guidance from this book as a working parent. But the book is a divisive anti Dad rant and provides no help for struggling families. Terrible waste of time.
