I have Scottish heritage and loved listening to this story. It was well written and told. I could visualize in my mind all the characters and how they must have looked along with their flats.
I will probably listen to it again. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

An amazing and wonderful story! I loved this book. It was also had super narrators. Very worthy of a second listen-which I rarely do.

I found the chopping and changing between eras & characters a bit hard to follow, may be better in print, cos if you miss the sentence where there’s a change in era, your lost. It’s ok, but by no means a fav.
