It did take me longer to get into The Survivors, because I wasn't totally enthralled with any one character. Didn't take too long, though, before I was pulled in; and then it was another Jane Harper novel that had me listening far too late at night, rivetted ..
Another brilliant Harper story

It's not an exciting page turner, but an evocative story that you can see in your mind as it happens. I hope they make a movie out of this story. It would be visually stunning.
My wife put me onto Jane Harper. She enjoyed being able to relate to Australian places, characters and culture. After listening to The Survivors I know what she means. It's definitely Australian and in particular rural/small town Australian.
I Nearly Gave Up On This Book

A great yarn

It is a wonderful, atmospheric story set on the wild coast of Tasmania. As usual, the underlying story is so
good you don't really care 'who done it'.
Every book is terrific. This is the best.
