The narrator’s attempts of the character’s voices was horrible. The story line was bus. Was this about the Teflon Queen or other characters????

The plot was good but the narrator was way off. How can a person from New York have a country accent? Hope the next book has a better one because it takes away from the book

This book kept me on the edge of my chair from first 5 minutes. First I've read of author, but not the last. Narrator was excellent as I felt every emotion that characters felt. This is a must read...and I'm going to get part 2 right now as I can barely wait to go on Angela's next adventure.

Author is similar to Ashley & Jaquavis and Wahida Clark.

This intro to the series was an okay listen. The usual mix of bad guys, victims, and violence. Nothing really stood out about it good or bad. I can't say if I will listen to or read book 2 just yet. Maybe if this had been more about the teflon queen instead of the men around her, I would have been invested.
