In the heart of a quiet meadow stands an old oak tree that listens when night falls. Its leaves shimmer softly whenever someone shares a worry or secret — turning fears into light and sorrow into calm.

When children come to the tree with their troubles, they discover the healing power of honesty, kindness, and connection. Each glowing leaf becomes a symbol of hope — showing that when we share what’s inside, our hearts grow lighter and our courage stronger.

A gentle story for children and adults alike, The Tree Who Kept Secrets reminds readers that speaking our feelings helps us grow — and that empathy and understanding can transform even the smallest hearts.

Perfect for:

Emotional learning & mindfulness for children

Family or classroom listening

Gentle bedtime reflection

Encouraging empathy, kindness, and communication

This story was short, but sweet. I thought the way the words were written were beautiful. The narrator read the story in a very enthusiastic and charismatic tone. I enjoyed listening to him read this story, I would definitely listen to this narrator again in a longer book!

Beautiful story and narration
