Under the old Pack Alpha, Zev Maccon, Seff was ordered to kill any witch and he was ordered to kill her, his Fated Mate. So after a night together, he leaves her a note saying the pack will always come first, since he had a brother to look after. Sherry Morgan leaves town and doesn't come back until the new Pack Alpha, Rafe Maccon makes a deal with her and contracts her services for the pack. Seff has been sorry since he left the note, but Sherry had already left town and him. Now that she is back, she refuses to work with him or talk to him. Then the Pack Alpha's Mate is attacked, taken and he is cursed and left on the side of the road. His last thought is her, Sherry, his Sherry and his thoughts were of how sorry he was. Sherry feels his thoughts immediately and heads straight to the pack house to find out what is going on. Sherry Morgan has the fight of her life for the Mate she lost all those years ago. She must use every tool in her arsenal to bring him back and then some, but it is temporary until she finds the Witch/Wizzard that cursed him. Plus she must bow to the witch counsel to produce the next female Morgan child, if she doesn't pick a mate, they will. Will she find the witch in time to save Seff, will he forgive her for what she had to do to bring him back and will he finally have his mate he should never have let go. This is a second chance romance with heartbreak, twists, turns, curses, attacks, betrayals, threats, fated mates, love, romance and a HEA. A must read story in a must read series.
This story is well narrated, but it would be a little better with someone who reads/narrates male shifters and their growls with a deeper voice and mennace when angry. Otherwise, she did a great job.

Absolutely Fantastic. Love lost. Action packed from the beginning all the way to the very end. The voice adds to the drama. Makes you feel like you are a part of the action.

Love a forbidden romance! Witches and wolves are two favs. The fact that the two groups are at odds but these two have such an amazing connection was deliciously angsty! Fun magic, great twists, and lots of heat made for a perfect story! The narrator did a lovely job and kept me engaged!
