They have nothing in common. So why can't they stay away from each other? Construction foreman Tomas Molina has no desire to settle down. He enjoys the single life too much, with all the choices of women available to him. But when ad executive Talia Jackson becomes single again, they start an affair that has him questioning his beliefs about relationships. And the next thing he knows, he's the one demanding exclusivity. Talia Jackson has always done what's right. Gone to the right schools, worn the right clothes, and married the right man. Seeking a boost when her marriage ends in divorce, she finds comfort in the arms of Tomas Molina, a man who makes her feel alive in a way she never has before. Then an unexpected result of their affair forces her to make a tough decision - stay in the world she's known all her life, or make a future with the man she's grown to love.

What made the experience of listening to The Wrong Man the most enjoyable?

I've read the book on my Kindle before (twice to be exact) but it felt great to hear the characters come to life through the narration. While Michael Pauley's accent for Tomas was not what I had imagined (and it took some getting used to.. still not too fond of it), I loved watching Tomas and Talia fall in over all over again. I would definitely listen to this book again!

Still one of my favorite stories.

When he came to her office then left and called her and said meet him in the stairwell in 5 mins.

What does Michael Pauley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The emotion in his voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

1st of all I liked that the author brought two different people from different cultures together. She made them come alive to me.
2nd I like that the beautiful Cuban man did not let Nay sayers opinions her detour him from seeing the most beautiful woman Inside that she was Inside. 3rd I like that the African American in this story was well to do and she was well educated, and we'll spoken.
this is one book thatcI,will not be giving back . please give us more delicious books like this one.. yummy!!

Now that's what I call a story worth listening to

Where does The Wrong Man rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This my first audio book and I really enjoyed it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Talia was my favorite character because of her vulnerability and strength. She was insecure when it came to her grandmother but was strong enough to end her marriage and climb the corporate world. She ultimately found the strength to declare her love for Tomas.

Did Michael Pauley do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Michael overall did a good job with the male characters and the grandmother but I didn't get as good a sense of Talia's voice through him.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved the scene of Talia having it out with the grandmother! It was great, well written and full of emotion, the reader could feel how hard it was at first for her to convey her feelings to her grandmother and then Talia's final admission of her pregnancy and love for Tomas.

Any additional comments?

Really love Delaney Diamond! Have all of her books and wait for her next release!

Sexy, sweet love story
