I love this series, but I will admit it was difficult to get into the new narrator. However, after a few chapters, it was easy enough to adapt. The story is worth it to me.

As for the story itself, Addie and her men are great. Tac is the best boy and I love the plot line with him in the final book in this collection.

Spoilers ahead: Domnall is a hard villain to top, but Victor Hesse is a formidable foe and the author does a great job with the story.

I enjoyed the first three books on audio so very much. Well written and professionally voiced.
This trilogy has a new reader who is atrocious. She reads this in a high pitched annoying squealing teen voice. Which is irritating when she is voicing the female characters. Astonishingly she uses the exact same voice for all the other characters, including the males. Ancient powerful demons squealing like tweens at a slumber party is funny for a bit. A very short bit.
I discovered the last three books aren’t even available as audiobooks. Cut my losses and returned this unlistenable mess for credit.
I rated the author three stars based on the quality of writing in the first trilogy, minus stars for abandoning those of us needing accessible audio books. I will actively avoid anything voiced by “Scarlet Love” in future.
