Jamethon Trent’s retirement is not going as planned, and working for King Arcus and General Mallet is not as easy as he had hoped. This was a very enjoyable audiobook, excellent character building wonderful narration. I listened to this book twice. Keep them coming Haddock !

really enjoy his books a lot. was happy to see a sequel to this one. while it was a great read I'm left with the feeling it's over and I really hope not. very fast paced book with nest endless happenings. definitely a good wisher book!

The unfolding of the story and characters, we’re at a comfortable pace, and the ability to portal from place to place kept things really moving along quickly, the performance of the voices was superb, I really enjoyed it

the main character is very op but I like it. He doesn't pull punches, he does what needs to be done.
I like how both books are complete so you aren't left wondering.
Will be getting the next book.

Love these books. Really enjoy the main character. The magic usage is unique and powerful. The narration is great as well. Just wish books were longer. This is the 3rd book from this author I listened to this month.
