From a #1 New York Times bestselling author, the 6:20 Man returns, this time sent to the Pacific Northwest to aid the in a complicated FBI case—and he’s about to come face-to-face with his nemesis.

Travis Devine has become a pro at accomplishing any mission he's given. But this time it’s not his skills that send him to Seattle to aid the FBI in escorting orphaned, twelve-year-old Betsy Odom to a meeting with her uncle, who’s under federal investigation. Instead, he’s hoping to lay low and keep off the radar of an enemy—the girl on the train.

But as Devine gets to know Betsy, questions begin to arise around the death of her parents. Devine digs for answers, and what he finds points to a conspiracy bigger than he could’ve ever imagined.

It might finally be time for Devine and the girl on the train to come face-to-face. Devine is going to find out the difference between his friends and his enemies—and in some cases, they might well be both.

I enjoyed the book. But there’s a major plot point that happens later in the book that was just so over the top that I became discouraged for a bit. I could not believe that Baldacci had resorted to such things.

This is more over the top than usual

There were definitely some really over-the-top moments here that kind of spoiled it for me, but otherwise, it was okay. The female narrator, The Girl on the Train, was pretty annoying. She was trying too hard to be sexy, ugh.
I liked most of the characters, and it was pleasant enough to listen to.

Okay, pretty good, a little over the top though

This is a thoughtful, well-written, very believable story set in present day America. It is entertaining and exciting and has a satisfying conclusion.

The book's timeliness and relevance stood out most.

Well developed characters; scary plot. Timely. Plot twists but realistic. Couldn’t put it down. Great listen. The narration was great quality.
