In the dark opening days of the Second World War, Japan marches unhindered through China and Southeast Asia. They decimate the American Fleet at Pearl Harbor. Four young Americans, three men and a woman, travel to China to assist the embattled Chinese. The woman works in her father’s mission hospital bombed relentlessly by the Japanese, while the men join the American Volunteer group.
