This was well read book grabs your attention and keeps you listening, waiting to see what the next chapter has in store. It weaves between three generations, and keeps you in suspense. All while offering many insightful thought provoking observations, with a rich mix of wit and humor.

How the writer detailed the lives of the 3 women, in different life spans in a funny, sexy and beautifully written execution. Truly a master piece.

This book was brilliant in the way that it told the stories from the point of view of multigenerational Palestinian women from the same family and the relationships they forged with unlikely partners. If we are honest, we all know those relationships occur all the time but our society tends to them cover up to fit a narrative. I greatly appreciated the honesty of the characters as well as the historical events that helped to shape their lives. The author uses humor to tell very complex stories while humanizing and convey so much depth. I loved all of the characters even the ones that didn’t care for too much. Great book! definitely worth reading.
