What if...? What if the South had won the American Civil War? What might America, and even the rest of the world, look like if this nation-splitting War Betwen the States had been successful? In "Travelers of the Gray Dawn," an action-adventure, time-travel, alternative history thriller, you'll see what might have been had the South been successful. When three modern-day Civil War reenactors accidently travel through time and space, a cascade of events transpires so that 2013 does not resemble the 2013 that they, and the reader, know. At its heart the novel is a love story, but "Travelers of the Gray Dawn" is also part a time-travel thriller, part detective story and a thought-provoking tale that begs the question: "What if?" As a read, it's a light, fast-paced movie-like book. Some have said its as if "Cold Mountain" meets "Back to the Future" with a little "Twilight Zone" and "National Treasure" thrown in. Freelance journalist, Paul Grimshaw, has written a captivating, compelling story filled with likable characters, intriguing plot twists, and a renvisoning of a world that might have been. Started out promising, then turned into the typical bullcrap. The Confederacy wins and turns into Nazi Germany. Such garbage, the Constitution of the CSA was nearly a mirror of the US constitution. No serious person thinks that the CSA wouldn't be similar if not more free than the US should it have won. That was he whole point in the war, the States felt they were in subjugation to the US.

Started out Okay, the because Southerners are authoritarian
