Meet Custard, Digger, Greta, Will, and Whisper—five rabbit friends who roam the wooded hillsides of Massachusetts and discover that true wisdom begins with listening.

When an unexpected friendship challenges what they think they know, the rabbits learn the power of shared leadership, cooperation, and learning from someone very different from themselves.

Warm, thoughtful, and gently inspiring, Traveling Down the Rabbit Hole: Talking with Trees is more than a charming animal story—it’s a tale about curiosity, friendship, and finding strength in difference.

Narrated by beloved audiobook favorite Alison Larkin, this enchanting listen is perfect for families, classrooms, and young listeners. Other popular children’s audiobooks narrated by Alison Larkin include Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll, Peter Pan by J M Barrie, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and the Moley series by Julia Grantham.

I absolutely loved listening to this audiobook which I bought because I am an Alison Larkin fan and my kids always love her audiobooks. My kids loved this one so much and have asked to listen again. The narrator and story are a perfect combination. What a treat! It reminded me a bit of Wind in the Willows. There's an innocent charm that is hard to find these days. And the voices! Oh my goodness, there are so many and they all feel so real. And it's about something that matters too. I won't spoil it for other listeners but truly I cannot recommend it highly enough.

A DELIGHTFUL listen!
