Follow Nathan, Jess, Denny, and others as they struggle through a post-apocalyptic America, where the only law is martial!

Their struggles take them from the comforts of their southern Illinois homestead, to the brutal realities of an America where liberty is no longer a right, and survival is of the fittest.

The reader didn't know how to pronounce things properly. Also was way too monotone. The guy just needed to do more research.

Story is great but bad voice actor

This is the first in a series by Mr. Hogan. Its set in a future America where the Left has run amuck and thru executive orders stripped our rights and set into motion the Globalist Agenda 21 on American soil called in UN troops and split the Country into zones. The Mr Hogan has done his research and these executive orders are real and on the books going back to JFK up To Obama.

The follow the characters as they try and survive in a world that is run on martial law. Brutality is common place and mans inhumanity to man in in vivid display. Mr Hogan paints a grim picture of a possible future. I cannot wait to hear more.

The narration was of a very high quality. The narrator was deeply expressive and brought great emotion to the characters and this grim future.

Very Good End of America Story.

We arrive at a post-apocalyptic the a very familiar path. The government just doing what was "best" for the people. Hogan introduces us to a world that has no rights and liberties, at least for the Americans who thought they had them. This is a good read as we watch the journeys of Nathan, Jess, Denny and others as the try to survive the realities of the new America.
The country they thought was free is now controlled by martial law and they are the enemy.
This is well worth the listen even if just for the entertainment. But even more worth the listen as we see the consequences of inaction in preserving our rights and liberty.

There are some who don't like the narrator but once you get into the book I think he fits it. The book was a different take than the normal shtf routine which was good. I thought the scenarios with the DHS, the issues and liberal greed and the way government control/tyranny came about was spot on. Over all an excellent book.

Great book!

This is a well written story about the fall of America. The narrator does a good job, but I think (personal preference here) some more inflection on some of the voices is needed.

a good story
